Where you land inside the band is our own placement: your follower count on a log scale, nudged up for strong engagement and premium fields (finance, tech, health, auto, education), and slightly down for crowded ones. Both guides describe these effects but give no exact multipliers. Real deals also depend on production effort, usage rights and deadlines, so add those on top.
